How To Organize Your Makeup Drawer
If you need a way to organize your makeup drawer and have lots of makeup, it’s usually all thrown into a drawer or into some kind of basket.
Most of the time we can’t find what we need or it’s just all old makeup that needs to go into the trash.
So now is the time to clean it out and organize your makeup drawer.
If you have makeup clutter and need some ideas to get it organized.
Here are some great ways to do it so that your makeup is easy to find and will look beautiful too!
I think we can all agree that is very annoying when you can’t find your favorite lipstick or shadow.
It makes sense to keep things organized so you don’t have to go looking around for your favorite makeup items.
When you have a makeup organizer, you can keep all of your makeup in one place and a big benefit is that your organizer is clear!
A cluttered makeup drawer might not seem like a big deal at first until you are running late and need to get to your makeup items in a hurry and then it becomes necessary to organize your items.
When you take a look at how cluttered your makeup drawer is and how many unused makeup items you have you may feel a little overwhelmed but there is no need for that because these tips will help you get on your way to a beautifully organized makeup collection!
The Beauty of a Well Organized Makeup Drawer
A well organized makeup collection can make your life a lot easier – that’s a fact – but there is something to be said for a beautiful way to display your items.
Not only to be practical but also glamorous!
Which leads us to the amazing Sherrieblossom Icebox Makeup Organizer collection.
These makeup organizers are absolutely gorgeous and can store all of your makeup into neat well organized drawers that you can see through!
Follow these steps, and you’ll have a well organized makeup collection, a simplified beauty routine and—best of all—you won’t be wasting money on products you regret.
To make the most of these steps, grab a pen and paper and take stock of what you have, and what you will throw out.
First figure out what you use the most and then which products you can live without and throw the old product out.
Then start sorting your favorite makeup items into categories.
#1 – Foundation, face powders – I will usually use one drawer for this because I will put my foundation, bb creams and concealer into this drawer.
#2 – Eye Shadows – I have a ton of eye shadow! So I just use one drawer for this as well. The drawers are large and wide enough to put your eye-shadow palettes into and then on the sides of the drawer you can put loose shadow pots or small single shadows in this one. This picture shows what it looks like inside ->
#3 – Cheek Colors – I use half of the drawer for these. There are separators that come with your organizer when you order so this comes in handy.
#4 – Liners, you can do two categories on these. If you have a variety of colors you can split this into lip liners and eye liners. Use the separators for these categories in one drawer.
#5 – Lip Color – I use one drawer for this with separators. Lipsticks in one, Gloss in the other.
This is optional but you can either use a separator inside one of the drawers and put your makeup brushes inside or you can purchase a separate makeup brush organizer which I did.
This not only keeps your makeup brushes organized and easy to get to but it keeps them in good condition too!
